Metal can defy expectations, evolving from solid to liquid and back to solid.  My work lies within these extremities. Crafted with a strong emphasis on quality, my work reflects the hands-on process of transforming raw materials into organic designs that reveal its beauty.

 

Whether working using traditional blacksmithing techniques or contemporary metal working technology, my focus is always on artistry and craftsmanship.

​As an artist I understand it is important to have knowledge of the craft and the material I work with. My goal is to create works that bring to life all of the properties of metal that continue to excite and engage me.

 

Working mainly in steel, stainless steel and copper I strive to create organic forms used in lighting, furniture, water features, functional garden art and architectural metal work.

I work closely with interior designers, architects, landscape architects, builders and individuals to identify their needs and realise their ideas in  customised ironwork.  Each commissioned piece reflects the clients unique vision and inspiration.
